EXTREME COWBOY RACES

If you do not know what this race is, well we will educate you.  An extreme cowboy race is an obstacle course on horseback.  You are timed for speed, but also judged for accuracy.  This will challenge even the best of riders to show their stuff.

Come join us for some fun and a little friendly competition.  Our race will be appropriate for adults or children 10 years and over.  Each rider must be able to walk, trot, canter, and do small jumps.

Bring your own horse or ride one of ours.  We will spend the first hour practicing each obstacle with you and your mount.  Cost $35 on your horse or $45 on ours.  Call to reserve your space in this exciting race.

TRAIL CLEANING:

You and your children can help us clean up the horse trails.  Bring your hand tools or chainsaws, we will need it all. Bring a brown bag lunch and a smile.  Dress for the weather and we will see you at the farm.  Call ahead to let us know you are coming.

May 26th (Monday) 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  This is Memorial Day Weekend.

TACK CLEANING:

We are looking for some energetic helpers to work on cleaning and oiling the saddles and bridles.  All the equipment takes a beating with this cold, damp weather and it needs a little TLC.  If you would like to volunteer a few hours, please let us know. We will set you up at the tack room any day of the week.  Please don’t wear your best clothes.  Bring some old rags and a brown bag lunch.  Call to let us know when you are available,  your helping hands will be much appreciated.
