2008 SPECIAL BOYS ADVENTURE CAMPS

We are always looking for new programs to add to our camp line-up.  This year we wanted to do more for the boys population.

 

We have created a series of Boys Adventure camps.  During camp our boys will be learning outdoor survival skills, outdoor cooking, construction skills, and horseback riding.

 

We are so excited about these fantastic camps.  I hope if you are a former camper, you will try these great camp outs..  (And bring a friend!)

 

Each camp will have a project which will be completed during the camp. 

OurMay camp will be the construction of a teepee. Plus we will landscape around the new teepee, we will work on outdoor cooking skills, take a lesson on horseback riding, and ride a trail.

At the June camp we will do archery, build a dock for the lake, trail blaze on foot, and of course ride horses.

In August, we will have campers build a canoe, fly fish, and ride horses.

Additional activities will be added as we pick our summer staff, and update our camp facilities.

 

* Open to boys ages 9 to 15 years old.

* No riding experience is necessary.

* Bring all overnight camping supplies needed.  See the overnight camping supply list.

   Additional supplies will be required for boys camp.  We will contact you with the details.

* Bring one pound of your favorite trail mix ingredient.

* A minimum of 5 boys will be required to make these camps happen. So tell your friends!!!

Camp check-in will be at 9:00 a.m. on the first day of each camp. 

The last day of camp we will check-out at 5:00 p.m.

 

Cost:   2-day camp $ 175                   

3-day camp $ 275

4-day camp $ 375

Dates Available:

May 17-18       2-days/one night stay               

June 16-19       4-days/3 nights stay

August 26-28   3-days/2 nights stay
