FALL MOM’S CAMP- to register see “Camp Registration Page and Release Forms”

Mom’s Camp has become a very popular event at our farm.  Women, at least 18 years old, come to the farm to relax, ride horses, and socialize with friends. No riding experience is necessary to participate, because we break up into skill groups for the riding portion of our day.  Our camp cook will serve great meals on Saturday and Sunday.  Friday, please bring your favorite potluck dish.  We would like everyone to bring a casserole or main dish.  The farm will provide salad.  Also we enjoy a variety of desserts. All women like dessert.  So bring one of those dishes too!!!

Don’t forget you also need to bring one pound of your favorite ingredient to add to the camp trail mix, a bottle of aspirin, and of course adult beverages.

Each camper can stay in a covered wagon, bring your own tent, or bring in a RV.  We want you to have fun and enjoy your weekend away from stress.

Date: September 5-7th, 2008

Cost: $225 for the weekend

Camp check-in from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.  A potluck dinner will kick camp off at 6:30 p.m.

Camp graduation will be on Sunday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.  Families are welcome to come watch the riding show and the graduation ceremony.

Friday additional riding lesson: For those who want a jump start on their horseback riding. We will offer a group riding lesson on Friday afternoon.  You must reserve your spot early so you can be included in the class. The cost for the class is $30.  This lesson will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run until 5:30 p.m.

A great addition from 2007 camp will come back in 2008.  The family obstacle course.  For those of you who enjoyed this Saturday evening activity.  We will do it again.
