Little Buckaroo Camp is designed to be the first pony camp experience for children. This camp is not open to parents attending. The camp runs for three hours. We offer morning and afternoon classes. We provide the Little Buckaroo Camp with lots of
helpers so even the newest riders will have plenty of supervision while learning to ride their pony.
Buckaroo Camp will include
riding lessons, trail rides, pony scavenger hunts, games on ponies, pony grooming classes, bareback riding, and arts and crafts.
Campers need to bring a snack, and a water bottle each day.
Because of allergies, we are no longer doing group trail-mix.
If your camper has attended Little Buckaroo camp in the past and is now ready for more independence than this is the perfect camp. Our staff will expect the wrangler to want to ride on their own. The camp will still be heavily staffed, yet the children need to be independent.
We will continue to work with the children on pony care, grooming, and saddling, and riding.
Campers should be happy to walk, and even trot with out the aid of a handler. The camp is still geared toward the younger crowd. This camp is kept separate from the Little Buckaroo camps. This camp is a great place for our veteran Little Buckaroo’s.
Little Wranglers will spend their camp day taking riding lessons, playing games on ponies, trail riding, grooming and saddling, and a small amount of arts and crafts.
Each camper must bring a water bottle, and a snack. Because of allergies, we are no longer doing group trail-mix.
