Ranch Riders Camp

Ranch riders is a popular full day camp option for kids ages 7-12 years old.

On Monday, each camper is assigned a horse or pony to work with for the week. Camper's riding abilities are assessed by our trained staff and divided into skill groups based on their previous riding experience. Ranch Riders Camp is structured for Beginner and Intermediate level riders.

Campers will work to help catch, groom, and saddle up the horses. They will also enjoy riding lessons, trail rides, and playing games on horseback.  Your camper will also be taught about horse care, the cost of ownership, and stable management practices such as cleaning their horses' pen and feeding. Other planned activities include bareback riding, meeting and riding the draft horses, and trying out different styles of saddles.

Ranch Riders will begin to  experience what it is like to own a horse and the hard work that comes with it.  Ranch Riders will get approximately 2+ hours daily of riding time.

Each camper will have a lunch break and snack time. Campers must bring a lunch, snack, and drinks.  Remember to pack lunches in sturdy bags or containers so our friendly squirrel population doesn’t get to share your lunch.

We at Lang’s Horse & Pony Farm are committed to providing a safe, educational, and welcoming environment for all our campers, patrons, volunteers, and staff. If your child requires special assistance for educational, behavioral or medical needs at school or other programs you will need to contact our office directly before enrolling in one of our camps to ensure that placement is feasible. Please read the attached information. For further details click here.
