Parent & Child Pony Camp
Parent and Child Pony Camp is where it all begins. Designed for littles who are not quite ready to come to camp on their own, it is a great way for you and your child to experience the adventure of Lang's Pony Camp. Together you will learn about ponies, grooming, saddling, and riding.

Under the supervision of our camp staff, your little one will learn to ride independently, and you will be there to see the whole transformation.
You will do fun things like brushing the ponies, going on trail rides, playing games with the ponies, coloring your pony’s picture and the fun goes on and on.
One parent or adult is required per child. This adult needs to be physically capable to assist their child with their pony during the camp session. To ensure everyone's safety, we need a one-to-one ratio of adults to kids at this age.

No horse experience is required.

Adults must wear sturdy, closed toed shoes, mud boots, hiking boots or riding boots.
There will be a lot of walking, and some jogging, while helping your youngster learn to ride.
A release of liability will be required for the camper and for any adult who will be attending camp with your child. To maintain group size only one adult per child is permitted.
Please bring a snack and water each day for you and your child.

Dress Code:
Jeans or riding breeches for the children.
Cowboy boots, English riding boots, or approved boots with a drop-down heel. Absolutely no tennis shoes, or lug soled shoes/boots for riders. (Parents are ok in tennis shoes or hikers.)
Dress in layers, camp is outdoors.
No tank tops.
We strongly recommend purchasing your own certified riding helmet. Our farm has loaner helmets available if needed. No bike or ski helmets are permitted.
