2-Week Horse Camp

Our 2-Week Horse Camp is for young ladies who are crazy about horses.  Horse lovers who want to ride for 13 days straight will love this camp.

Each camper will ride through the Overnight Camp Week, spend the weekend riding and working with us, and then ride through the next weeks Overnight Horse Camp.  That is a whole lot of riding.

Riders can keep the same camp horse or change horses at the start of each new camp.  They can choose to ride Western one week and English the next, or just keep it all the same.

We encourage girls to take a few rides prior to camp to get their bodies in riding shape.

Housing at Lang's is quaint and unique and adds to the western experience. There are 3 housing options:

1. Covered wagons accommodate the majority of our campers. Each "room" accommodates up to 6 girls. Mattresses are NOT included for the covered wagon bunks.

2. We also have camping cabins available. The cabins are designed for two to four girls per room. The additional cost for a cabin is $130 per girl for the 2 weeks. Only 12 cabin spots are available, so sign up early.

3. Tent camping is also available along our beautiful lake. If your camper would prefer to bring a tent for more privacy we welcome it.

Please note that neither the covered wagons nor the cabins have electricity. All sleeping areas are bunk bed style.

Our shower facility makes personal hygiene a breeze.  Campers may request their parents to bring them fresh clothes between camp sessions, or pack heavy coming into camp. Click here for our Camp Supply List.

Food at Lang's is made on site by our Camp Cook at the Camp Diner. We provide regular, and vegetarian meal options. If your camper has other special dietary requirements, please contact us before signing up for camp to discuss whether we will be able to accommodate their needs. You may be asked to provide appropriate substitution foods.

Homesick?

No refunds will be given for campers who leave camp early because they are homesick.  Please be sure you and your camper are prepared for them to be away at camp for 2 weeks.

Our camp has a general store.  Campers can purchase drinks, snacks, and memorabilia from the store.  Campers are not allowed to shop with cash, but instead must set up a store account.  You can do that online or pay at the office upon checking into camp.

We at Lang’s Horse & Pony Farm are committed to providing a safe, educational, and welcoming environment for all our campers, patrons, volunteers, and staff. As a family run business, we are limited in the range of special needs we are able to properly accommodate; including but not limited to behavior management and certain health conditions.

If your child requires special assistance for educational, behavioral or medical needs at school or other programs you will need to contact our office directly before enrolling in one of our camps to ensure that placement is feasible. Please read the attached information. For further details click here.
